Functionality 

         Each aquaristic set of type „Lumax” consists of a rectangular aquarium of capacity 528 l, an illumination cover provided with two fluorescent lamps of 2x80W* and a cabinet.

         The cabinet under the aquarium is provided with two chambers wherein the filters and other devices needed for aquarium servicing may be stored. In the back of either chamber, there are special-purpose cut-outs enabling leading of filter hoses and supply conductors. Inside the cabinet, there are three drawers wherein various things, starting from feed and finishing at professional references, may be stored. A novel solution are 8 massive legs (the number has been calculated especially for the load values that should be borne by cabinet) that, due to a special-purpose adjustment system, make it possible to compensate for minute floor irregularities.

         The illumination cover consists of the cover frame made of a lightweight and strong plastic profile in a wood-like veneer matched to the décor of the cabinet, rigid aluminium strip, whereto the illumination beam is fixed, and of the cover flaps, also in the wood-like veneer. In the back of either cover, there are, as per standard, two openings of Dia. 4 cm. An absolute facilitation of service is the complete disassembly ability for the cover, i.e. you can remove its individual components so that the frame alone remains on the aquarium; this enables full access to the tank and helps in trouble-less performance of the cultivation work (see the gallery below).

         A supplement to the whole is an exclusive decorative strip. Bonded to tank front and sides.
